Sophie Terzo is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Her first healthcare role was as a Registered Nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL followed by UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. Upon completion of her Master of Science (MSN) at Loyola University, IL., Sophie began her nurse practitioner career at a private Dallas family medicine clinic.

While treating patients in family medicine, with a conventional medicine model, Sophie recognized the need to address concerns in a more holistic and integrative approach. Thus, her passion to better understand and dive into the world of Functional Medicine began. Sophie believes that each patient deserves an individualized and tailored plan to become the best version of themselves. She ensures that various aspects of health and wellness are discussed with each encounter – including nutrition, stress levels, lifestyle habits, sleep, and more. It is her goal to discover the root cause of the symptoms and work beyond the prescription pad.

Sophie resides in Dallas with her beloved husband, son, daughter, and dog. She truly enjoys the life they have built together as Texans! In her spare time, you will find her outdoors with her family, practicing yoga, traveling, and reading.
